So, there were 5 stages in total: application, screening, an interview with attraction and selection. Then an interview with the account manager, followed by an interview with the project manager and the project team (client and Cast). I had a questionnaire with the recruitment assistant and then a good interview with the HR analyst. She listened to my historical presentation and confirmed the job requirements, including proof of experience and academic documentation. She mentioned that my application caught her attention, prompting her to ask the assistant to call me. She then went into more detail about the role, mentioning they were looking for mature and senior individuals to handle the client, emphasizing confidentiality. She also explained more about the daily routine and the project's context. We then discussed salary and benefits, based on my expectations and the company's hiring model for this position. We reached an agreement within my desired range. She then informed me of the next steps: an interview with the client's account manager for more insights into the daily work, challenges, and a more in-depth technical assessment of the required tasks for the client's project, as well as working hours. The meeting with HR lasted just over 30 minutes and was very pleasant. The meeting with the technical manager gradually extended as we both felt there was a good match between the role and my profile, becoming a fluid, frank, light, polite, realistic, and engaging conversation, lasting 70 minutes. The manager informed me of one final step: referral to the client, who, under the contract model, has the final approval. For this, they conduct a team interview, led by the team and system manager, two of their developers (one from the Cast team), and the Cast manager. The meeting with the team lasted exactly 30 minutes, where I introduced myself in the first 5 minutes and then answered specific questions about my experience, task performance with tools, methods, best practices, and problem-solving. There were even questions to gauge my knowledge of tools and concepts, which I answered. Everything went smoothly and easily.

I applied for the job. I got a message via WhatsApp to schedule an online interview. We confirmed the interview for the same day at 11:10 AM, I rescheduled a commitment to participate in the interview, but she didn't call. I didn't get a response, so I messaged that I was waiting for her return at the scheduled time. She rescheduled for the next day at 2:30 PM and again didn't answer, I contacted her again. She didn't send a meeting link, simply called me on WhatsApp chewing something, repeated the same questions she had already asked on WhatsApp, already pointing out to me that I did not have the degree required by the client to participate in the selection for a specific project. As far as I know, before contacting people, a screening of resumes that meet the specification is done and the job description should also include the requirement, she didn't even need to contact me. It was one of the most negative experiences I've had in an interview process.
- No questions were asked during the contact.
Manager
They seem unprepared to deal with senior professionals. They use recruiters with little to no experience who lack the technical ability to ask relevant questions or maintain a productive conversation suitable for a senior candidate. It's uncomfortable to be interviewed by someone who sometimes doesn't even understand what you're talking about, especially given your level and seniority. They didn't even explain which specific role I was interviewing for, just saying there were 'several possibilities' when asked. When I inquired about the work model, the response was curt: 'In this position, you live in airports.' Is this how a professional company operates?

The process was well-organized and entirely online. It started with a LinkedIn message to offer the position, confirm my interest, and ask some initial questions. This was followed by an interview with the Tech Recruiter, who provided a full description of the role and the salary offer. Next, a technical interview was conducted, which included a practical test. Finally, there was an interview with management to align on my profile and personal goals.
