First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CAST.
UX/UI Designer
The interview was quite relaxed, as was the entire hiring process for the position. It involved people from the project, such as the manager and POs, as well as a UX/UI designer. It was more of a conversation where they explained the project and asked me questions about my professional background.
- Tell me about your professional journey.
UX Writer
It started with a contact on Linkedin and then went to Whatsapp. They explained the hiring process and asked me about my experience with some tools. A few days later, a technical interview was scheduled with the client and a recruiter from Cast. The interview was quite light and included questions about the daily life of UX. Overall, it was a relaxed interview. They wanted to know about my current work routine, how I operate in teams and individually, and about the tools I've used.
- Can you share your experiences?
- Do you prefer working independently or collaboratively?
- How are tasks assigned to you?
User Experience Designer
The HR team usually gets in touch first. Then, the technical team comes in with more specific questions. After that, there's an interview with the client to better understand the context, the needs, and how your work will function. I felt there was a lack of updates on the process progress, and the organization from those involved could have been better.
- Tell me about your techniques and methodologies.
- Describe how you usually approach solving a problem in your day-to-day work.
- How do you engage with a client to understand their context and needs, and how your role would fit in?
