Started with a recruiter screening, then a mini-case with a random PM. The PM didn't even know what role I was applying for and seemed super uninterested. I could tell the case didn't go well during the interview. It's not a great assessment for people with anxiety or those who prefer verbal communication because they verbally throw a ton of info at you about a product you've likely never used and expect solid answers on the spot. You should probably download the app beforehand and look around if you actually care about moving ahead in the process.

Case Technical Presentation
I spoke with the recruiter first to see why I wanted to work in analytics and at Capital One. Then, I had a preliminary case round that involved a quantitative case study. The main interview day, or 'power-day', had three parts: two more case studies, similar to the first but harder and longer, and then a product discussion where I talked about a digital B2C product I picked.

Technical Coding Behavioral Case
The interview process started with an Online Assessment that took about 70-80 minutes, mainly testing SQL/Python and data manipulation skills. Then, there was a 30-minute HR Screen where a recruiter reviewed my resume and asked 'Why Capital One?'. After that, a Data Challenge, which was either a take-home or timed task involving exploring a messy dataset and providing business recommendations. The final round was a 'Power Day', lasting 3-4 hours, featuring a Business Case (focused on math and structuring problems), a Technical/Coding segment, and a Behavioral part using the STAR method.

Case Behavioral Technical Coding
The Superday had three parts: a case study, a behavioral interview, and a technical interview. For the technical part, it was basically implementing a class, usually using a hashmap. The case study involved credit cards, and I had to talk through my thought process and ask clarifying questions. The behavioral part was pretty standard.
