So I had one interview, and there was an Excel data test. They told me beforehand that there would be a test during the interview. I had to use a pivot table to answer 3 questions about finding anomalies and trends. The interviewers were nice people. However, after the reference check, I was ghosted. I even followed up with HR, but got no response. It was really unprofessional; a simple message saying they'd moved on with someone else would have been fine.

I went through an online panel interview for a Data Scientist position at CNRL. It was in a virtual room with four interviewers, though only two were asking questions. Instead of coding or whiteboarding, the interview focused on my past projects. I presented one of my machine learning projects, and they asked technical questions about my choices and process. They also mentioned my experience might be a bit much for the role. There was also a question about willingness to visit work sites occasionally.

I interviewed with CNRL for an Accounts Payable position. It was about an hour long and involved two supervisors and an HR person. It was mostly behavioral questions and I thought it was pretty easy if you were prepared. HR mentioned they had more interviews that week, so I figured I'd hear back in about two weeks. It's been since February 25th and I haven't heard anything. I know companies have a lot of people to talk to, but it would be nice to get a quick email saying you didn't get the job. Overall it was a good experience, but better communication would make it better for the candidates.

I went through the interview process at CNRL Aberdeen, Scotland. It started with a 40-minute recruiter pre-screen call. After that, I was invited to a first interview, which was a one-hour, three-person technical panel interview. Then, a second interview happened a few weeks later. This one was more of a character evaluation, also a three-person panel, and included a presentation from CNRL. They asked questions about the company's Mission Statement and core values. This whole thing took about 90 minutes. The whole process from applying to getting the offer took about three months.
