First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brookfield Properties.

The interview process was well managed and organised. Communication was clear throughout, and the team felt friendly and approachable. The company presented strong values and a positive, professional culture. i would reccomend this place ti anyone was local
- Can you share your experience and explain why you want to work in this industry?
- What are your key drivers for working?
Operations Manager
The interview process was short but exhausting. First, I spoke with HR. Then, I interviewed with the VP of Regional Operations, followed by the VP of Asset Management. After that, I met with the Senior VP of Asset Management, and finally, the Executive Vice President of Asset Management.
- How do you handle a tenant who is angry?
Property Administrator
I applied for a role with Brookfield Properties in August 2025. The process took about 3-4 weeks and included an initial HR screening, an in-person interview with the Assistant General Manager on-site, and a virtual interview with the Compliance Manager. The interview with the AGM was incredible! Easily one of the best professional conversations I've had. I also got a tour of the building, which was incredible. Everyone I spoke with was professional, personable, and clearly passionate about the company. That said, I was a bit disappointed not to receive an offer, especially since the role was described as “urgent” and has since been reposted multiple times. It's a little confusing from a candidate perspective, but overall I left the process with a positive impression of the team and culture.
- How do you deal with tough tenant issues?
Property Manager
The interview process is extremely lengthy! I had 5 interviews spanning over a month. This included 1 phone, 3 virtual and 1 in-person. Everyone I met with was nice however I was surprised after the in-person to never hear a thing again. To have that many interviews and not even get a simple email is ridiculous and truly goes to the culture of the company.
- How many units do you currently oversee?
