The interview process was short but exhausting. First, I spoke with HR. Then, I interviewed with the VP of Regional Operations, followed by the VP of Asset Management. After that, I met with the Senior VP of Asset Management, and finally, the Executive Vice President of Asset Management.

I applied for a role with Brookfield Properties in August 2025. The process took about 3-4 weeks and included an initial HR screening, an in-person interview with the Assistant General Manager on-site, and a virtual interview with the Compliance Manager. The interview with the AGM was incredible! Easily one of the best professional conversations I've had. I also got a tour of the building, which was incredible. Everyone I spoke with was professional, personable, and clearly passionate about the company. That said, I was a bit disappointed not to receive an offer, especially since the role was described as “urgent” and has since been reposted multiple times. It's a little confusing from a candidate perspective, but overall I left the process with a positive impression of the team and culture.

The interview process is extremely lengthy! I had 5 interviews spanning over a month. This included 1 phone, 3 virtual and 1 in-person. Everyone I met with was nice however I was surprised after the in-person to never hear a thing again. To have that many interviews and not even get a simple email is ridiculous and truly goes to the culture of the company.
