I interviewed for an Assistant General Manager role. It involved five interviews: one with the recruiter, one with the Senior General Manager, and then three more with upper-level directors. It was a pleasant experience overall, but after everything, the recruiter who handled my application left the company. All my attempts to follow up were met with silence or vague statements about a decision being made in the coming weeks. They said they'd be in touch, but the position was filled, and I was essentially ghosted. It felt pretty unprofessional considering how many interviews and how much time I invested.
