First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bozzuto.
Digital Marketing Analyst
So, there were 3 interviews in total. First, I talked to HR, then the manager, and finally the director. After that last one, I got completely ghosted. It would have been nice to at least get a rejection email, you know? They hit me with a bunch of technical stuff and also some personal questions.
- Can you elaborate on the specifics of digital marketing processes?
Assistant General Manager
Got an email and text about a phone interview, which happened the next day. Then, a Zoom interview was set up for the following week. After interviewing on Tuesday, they mentioned they hoped to extend an offer by that Friday. However, I ended up waiting two weeks for an automated rejection.
- Could you share your experience regarding reporting ownership?
- What was your favorite resident event to plan?
- Tell me more about your background in sales.
Property Manager
First you'll chat with HR, and they have a big say in whether you move forward, so keep that in mind. After that, you'll meet with the Regional Manager and VP for about an hour to go deep into the job details, situational questions, and questions about your past experience. Honestly, if you're already doing the job day-to-day, there's not much prep needed. I really liked them both. The last interview is with the client, and they can be a bit tough because they're focused on their investment, which is understandable. Your job is to reassure them that you can make them money, solve their problems, get units leased up, or whatever their main issues are. The whole process is pretty straightforward and designed for talented people. Bozzuto is like a well-oiled machine in a good way, so don't be discouraged if you don't get it the first time; just try harder next time.
- Can you tell me about a situation where one of your employees disagreed with a decision you made?
Administrative Assistant
It was okay, this is my third time interviewing with Buzzuto. I felt a bit intimidated. Some of the questions the Talent Manager asked, I needed clarification on what was being asked. Another question asked was to give an example of what calls you go through on any given day, and I said that would depend on a few factors and that some operational days are different from day to day.
- Can you describe your experience and explain how it would align with Buzzuto's culture?
