Behavioral Technical Case

I initially applied to Bozzuto in July 2012 for sales and marketing associate roles. About two weeks later, HR contacted me about a position I hadn't applied for. After a quick phone call, they invited me for an in-person interview the next day. This meeting included four people, one of whom was the president of their construction division. The interview lasted about an hour, and they said I'd hear back by the end of the week. I never did. I reached out via phone and email for an update but got no response. A month later, I got an email for a phone interview for one of my original applications. The interviewer didn't ask questions, saying my previous answers were sufficient, but gave me a more detailed job description. After that, silence for another month. I emailed again for updates with no response. Then, the next day, I was asked for another in-person interview, with less than 24 hours' notice. This time, I interviewed with the property manager for a sales and marketing associate position. The questions were easy, focusing on 'favorites' and 'least favorites' from school. The interviewer seemed very impressed, even saying 'Oh my god, you're hired!' Then I met the property manager's boss, who asked a couple of easy questions about my interests. After thanking them, I heard nothing for a month and a half. I emailed weekly, still no response. Finally, in late October, the recruiter emailed saying they chose someone else. The communication from this company was terrible throughout the entire process. They expect associates to work at least three weekends a month for a salary in the low 30s, with no negotiation, which isn't worth the effort.

Behavioral Presentation Other

Three rounds total. First, an online video interview which can be a little weird, but just practice with the camera a few times and you'll be fine. Then, an in-person meeting with the property team. This one is pretty conversational, since it's a job dealing with people. You need to show you're a people person and can stay positive even with an angry client. The last interview, with the regional manager, involves some tough questions. It might be over the phone. This round is basically a culture fit check and to make sure they didn't miss anything in the previous interview.

Behavioral Technical

I first applied online via LinkedIn. About a week later, I got an email for a virtual interview where I had to watch videos and answer questions on camera. It was a bit strange but a new thing for me. The next day, a recruiter emailed to set up a phone interview. A few days later, I had a short 20-minute phone call with the recruiter, and she then wanted me to come in for an in-person interview. A few days after that, I interviewed at a property with the manager. It was a friendly yet professional interview, very clear and to the point. Two days later, the recruiter called and offered me the job.
