First you'll chat with HR, and they have a big say in whether you move forward, so keep that in mind. After that, you'll meet with the Regional Manager and VP for about an hour to go deep into the job details, situational questions, and questions about your past experience. Honestly, if you're already doing the job day-to-day, there's not much prep needed. I really liked them both. The last interview is with the client, and they can be a bit tough because they're focused on their investment, which is understandable. Your job is to reassure them that you can make them money, solve their problems, get units leased up, or whatever their main issues are. The whole process is pretty straightforward and designed for talented people. Bozzuto is like a well-oiled machine in a good way, so don't be discouraged if you don't get it the first time; just try harder next time.

Bozzuto recruit from my school annually, hiring 2-4 people. All interested candidates were given 30 min slots for the first interview, with longer slots for subsequent rounds. It was the typical process, but this interview was not typical at all. My college shares some blame for scheduling more people than slots, which pushed my interview late. However, that's no excuse for how my interviewer behaved. She was glued to her computer, texting and even took a call mid-interview. She was so distracted that she sometimes forgot questions and repeated others. We finished after about 20 mins, and it was clear neither of us would proceed. I didn't even send a thank you note. It felt like a waste of time. I don't mind not getting a job or having a bad interview, but you should at least be professional and pay attention to the candidate, at least until they mess up. She didn't give me her attention from start to finish. To be fair, other Bozzuto staff I interacted with were professional and energetic, but overall, it was a bad experience.

The interview experience was quite pleasant. While the initial phone screening felt a bit formal and distant, the actual interview with the property manager was surprisingly warm and welcoming. It felt like a standard interview, focusing more on getting to know me as a person. Overall, the process went smoothly. The manager seemed pleased with me and indicated that I was essentially hired, and I'm now just waiting for the HR department to get in touch.
