AI Engineer
First, there was a 30-minute initial team interview with 5 team members and the hiring manager over video call. It was mainly about cultural fit, team dynamics, and some high-level technical stuff, plus your expectations for the role and why you want it. You also got to ask questions about the company and role. Then, a take-home assignment was given, expected to take 3-5 days to complete, with a max of 2-4 hours of work. It was a practical problem for the role, and you had to submit your code/solution with a brief explanation. The final interview was 2 hours long, with 7 stakeholders including senior team members, cross-functional folks, and leadership. It started with a 15-min presentation/discussion of your take-home assignment. Then, a 45-min deep technical interview focusing on system design and problem-solving. After that, a 30-min leadership/behavioral interview, followed by a 15-min chat about company vision alignment. The last 15 mins were for your questions.
- How would you approach system design and problem-solving in a deep technical interview?
- Can you elaborate on the system design and problem-solving aspects discussed in the deep technical interview?
