The interview went well. We started with me introducing myself, then we talked about my past projects and they asked me some questions about networking. They also asked me why I was interested in joining Airtel. After that, we discussed my projects again and some electronics-related topics.

Next up is a Managerial/Leadership Round, where they'll ask about managing teams, talking to stakeholders, getting projects done, and sorting out disagreements. Like, how you'd deal with deadlines being missed or how you balance being good with quality versus being fast in sprints. The Final Round is usually with a Director/VP or might involve client interaction, focusing on your strategic thinking, how you align with business goals, and how you communicate with clients, especially since it's a billable role. This round often checks if you can represent QA in team discussions. Finally, if everything goes well, you get an Offer and can negotiate based on your level and experience.

The interview process for this Site Acquisition Lead role involves understanding how you'd manage the entire site acquisition lifecycle. This includes identifying potential cell site locations with network planning teams, and then leading negotiations to secure the land or rooftop space, making sure lease agreements are finalized on time. You'll also need to show you can ensure compliance with local regulations from authorities like ZEMA and city councils, handling permits and approvals. A big part is landlord management, building and keeping good relationships, and sorting out any lease or payment issues. The role also requires project management skills to coordinate with vendors and ensure projects are done on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. You'll be involved in supporting the Finance team with payments and tracking expenditures. Additionally, expect to be responsible for reporting on performance and also managing contracts and maintenance for retail shops. Basically, it's about acquiring the physical spots for network expansion and retail presence.
