First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BGIS.
Business Analyst
The interview process was really smooth and well organized. It included two rounds. The first one was more of an introduction, where we talked about my background and experience. The second and final round was with the hiring managers and focused mainly on behavioral questions. It felt more like a conversation, where we discussed how I handle different situations and deal with challenges. The BGIS team was very responsive and quick to share updates and results, which made the whole process feel efficient and well managed.
- Regarding documentation and reporting, how do you work with stakeholders when requirements change?
Designer
We started with a quick chat with HR, and then I had a Teams video call that lasted about an hour. It was with two managers from the team and they asked me some questions about the job, my skills, and my past work.
- Can you tell me about your skills?
- What's your proficiency with design programs?
- Could you describe your previous work experience?
Customer Service Representative
The communication was good throughout the whole process. They used the STAR method. I interviewed with the direct manager and the Site manager. It was pretty chill but still professional and to the point. They gave me a good amount of info about the job, the team, and how they fit into the bigger picture of the site.
- Can you describe your experience using Microsoft programs?
- Tell me about a time you had to handle a conflict situation at work.
Maintenance Technician
It was a pretty standard interview on Teams with three managers. Honestly, felt like a bit of a show, not really sure it was all necessary. They asked me situational and experience-based questions about the job. I talked about my interest and qualifications. One manager said I went off-topic, which I disagreed with. They asked clear questions though. They said I'd hear back soon, but I never did. I had to check online to see I wasn't selected.
- What do you consider your most valuable skills to be?
