Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BGIS.
Project Coordinator
There were two parts to the interview: first, a 20-minute chat with the recruiter, and second, a 30-minute video meeting with the manager. Neither interview involved technical stuff; they were mostly about seeing if I'd be a good fit, my motivation, and my soft skills.
- Could you tell me about your greatest strength and explain your reasoning?
Project Coordinator
I had a call with a hiring manager, then went in person to their office for an interview with two managers.
- What does an ideal project manager look like?
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Could you tell me about a project you worked on?
Project Coordinator
HR reached out via email to get virtual interview availability. We had 2 rounds on Teams. First was with the team lead, covering general questions, my experience, and my interest in the role. The second was with the team lead and the hiring manager, and it felt like they wanted to see how my personality would fit with the team.
- What makes you the best fit for this position?
