Barilla Group Interview Questions
& Process

The interview was conducted via Teams. The HR person was very nice and smiling. She started the interview by asking about my university path, then moved on to why I chose that company and how my studies relate to the agri-food industry.

My Barilla interview experience was pretty bad. The first interview on Aug 14 was moved last minute, then rescheduled. On the new date, I was on time for the Teams meeting but the interviewer never showed up. I emailed them after, but got no reply. It seemed unprofessional after all the effort.

There were 4 stages; Aptitude test, Interview with HR, Case study, Interview with higher management. Overall great experience, they give feedback whether you pass to the next stage or not. At the case study stage, they called all the final candidates to their offices to work on the case in groups, which was very interesting, you get a chance to see the other candidates and they get to see how you work with a team.

The interview process for the sales intern role was pretty thorough and also fun. It had three interviews and two tests in total. First, there was an introductory interview where they were really friendly and asked about my background and career goals. Then, I had a logical test to check my problem-solving skills, with puzzles and pattern recognition. The second interview focused more on my professional experience, especially my international background and what I learned from working in different cultures. After that, I took an attitudinal test to see if my personality and work ethic fit the company values, with situational questions. The final interview was more strategic, about how I could contribute to the company and what challenges I might face. They were friendly the whole time and really interested in my perspective, especially on diversity and adaptability. The whole vibe was professional but also welcoming.
