If you're well prepared, it's not too hard. I went to the clerkship day, which first had a group exercise. It was an M&A case where we were allowed a short time to read and take notes, then discuss the questions in front of the interviewers (partners and senior associates). It wasn't very technical but touched on some law concepts and commercial news. Next was Q&A, where everyone could ask the panel questions. Finally, there was a written test; we needed to take the notes from the group exercise and answer questions on the laptop provided. We had to work under a limited time, and at the end, write an executive summary in Chinese.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The interview process had two parts. The first part was a competency-based assessment, and the second part involved senior directors. The second interview really dug into what I said in the first one. They asked questions about technical stuff, strategy, critical thinking, how I handle leadership and people, and also about operations.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process involved speaking with an HR person first, then the Controller and Accounting Manager, and finally receiving an offer letter. It was a straightforward process where they asked technical questions, inquired about my previous role, my aspirations for the new position, my current skill set, and areas I wish to develop in my career.
