The entire interview process, consisting of three rounds, was completed in a single day, and I received the outcome shortly after. Baidu is a really great company. Compared to other internet companies in China, Baidu has been the most pleasant one I've encountered during interviews.
The interview process was a single session, and it was a really positive experience. The team lead was clearly knowledgeable, and all the colleagues were approachable and supportive. The company culture isn't overly competitive, which is typical for a firm that's growing. I found it quite appealing. After a quick chat and once things were arranged, the team lead's main goal was to confirm my awareness of current operations and my capability to handle the job.
First, we had an icebreaker, then a leaderless group discussion. The topic was whether we should build carrier apps into our phones. There were 14 participants in total, and we had 30 minutes for the discussion, followed by a Q&A.
