Baidu Frontend Engineer interviews, decoded.

The entire interview process, consisting of three rounds, was completed in a single day, and I received the outcome shortly after. Baidu is a really great company. Compared to other internet companies in China, Baidu has been the most pleasant one I've encountered during interviews.

It was a great interview, the interviewer was kind and easygoing. Leetcode test was required in the first round interview. Basic knowledge of Javascript and libraries were asked in the interview.

The interview process usually starts with a recruiter screen, then some technical interviews where they'll test your coding skills, system design knowledge, or whatever else is relevant. They might also have behavioral interviews to see if you're a good fit for the team and how well you communicate. Some places give you a take-home coding challenge or a live coding session. The last part is often a panel interview with people from different teams. This whole thing can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.
