First, there was a written test. It had C programming language questions, which weren't too hard. There were also a couple of math questions. Then, the actual interview happened. I was there with someone from the department with the opening and someone from HR. We talked about my answers. Some more C programming questions came up, and then the standard interview questions. It was a relaxed and friendly vibe.
I had a conversation with the hiring manager and the head of the department. We started with a brief introduction round. Then, I had to explain my resume and they asked some follow-up questions about why I chose this particular path. After that, they went into more detail about the position itself. Overall, it was a very pleasant conversation in a relaxed atmosphere.
The interview process included two technical interviews. Following those, there were two interviews with the General Manager and one HR round. The HR folks were really rude and unwilling to negotiate salary. The technical rounds were fine. The HR people were idiots.
