I was brought in for an interview with HR and my prospective manager. They asked me some basic questions about my resume and past work. After that, the manager gave me a tour of the facility, showing me the potential workspaces. I was then told that they would contact me if they were interested in offering me the internship.
A recruiter called me to schedule the interview. Two employees were present during the interview. They were both very friendly. After they introduced themselves, I introduced myself. The interview had a very pleasant atmosphere, and no difficult questions were asked.
I was contacted for the first interview, it went great. They had a list of situational questions. They asked me to break down the BOM of a finished part they had in front of me, and also asked me to answer the 'why manholes are round' question. About a week and a half later, I had my second interview with three members of the project purchasing department. I don't think any new questions were asked by the interview panel; it was more of a discussion about what I'd be doing and to see if I'd be interested. I got the offer about three days after that.
