Candidate-reported interview process

After submitting my resume, I received a call. Then, I met with a panel of 5 department heads who each had an intern opening. They took turns asking me questions about my strengths, weaknesses, and how I'd handle specific situations. After they finished asking me questions, they asked what questions I had. I asked each of them to describe their department and what they were looking for in an intern. Based on their answers, I stated which departments I was interested in.

It's a multi-step hiring process. First, we write a job description, then post the job. After that, we schedule interviews, do some initial screening interviews, and then have in-person interviews. Finally, we follow up with candidates and make a hire.

I had a panel interview with different employees where they asked me about my resume and the job requirements. It was pretty quick, only about 30 minutes total. I got to see a bit of the site too.
