Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process started with a recruiter phone call to ask some simple questions. After that, I had an interview with the hiring manager where they also asked pretty simple questions.

The interview process started with an email screening instead of a phone call. They asked standard pre-screening questions about location, work authorization, availability, and salary expectations. For experienced candidates, salary is a big thing. The salary range for this Account Manager role seems to be below market for experienced professionals, with a salary cap of $63,000 for this position. Mid-level candidates should probably clarify salary expectations upfront. The process was simple overall, but more upfront info on pay would help set expectations and save everyone time.

The interview process involved only talking to HR, no hiring managers. They had me complete the Wonderlic test, and that was pretty much it. The whole thing was fairly straightforward. I had two interviews in total before getting an offer.
