Okay, so the process started with a phone screen. Then there was an aptitude test, which had two parts: a computer programmer aptitude battery where I had to finish flow charts, and a Wonderlic test. After that, I had a take-home assignment where I needed to write a script in Visual FoxPro to do a specific task. Finally, I had a relaxed interview with the team manager. It was more of a casual chat to see if it felt like a good fit, not really any intense questions.
So the first thing was a recruiter calling me to screen me. Then I had to do some aptitude tests and a programming project. I did well on those, and was supposed to have a meeting with the hiring manager next, but that's on hold because of Covid-19.
I applied through Handshake and later got an interview invitation. The first step was a phone screen with a very friendly recruiter, which was a pleasant conversation. I passed this screen quickly and was then asked to complete an aptitude assessment. After taking the test, I was unfortunately rejected without a stated reason.
