I sent in my application online and then got an interview invitation from HR. The HR person explained the hiring steps. First, I had a call with her. Second, there was a test. If I passed the test, my next step would be an interview with the hiring manager. The test was really hard, especially since English is not my first language. It had 50 questions and I only had 12 minutes to complete it. What was really weird is that the test wasn't even about accounting; the questions were so random!
I had an initial phone screening with HR, then an in-person interview with an HR rep, and finally met with a manager and VP. Unfortunately, after I accepted an offer, it was rescinded because of unexpected issues. The interviews themselves went well, but it was a bummer not being told the full story upfront and finding out so late.
It was a thorough process, starting with a phone interview with the recruiter, followed by an in-person meeting with the same recruiter. They asked good questions about my skillset as it relates to the position and job description. I liked that I stayed with one recruiter throughout the whole process. The recruiter was very kind and enjoyable to talk to.
