Candidate-reported interview process
Had a few rounds of interviews over a couple of months. The interviews were short and with different managers and about different projects. Mostly I led the conversation and they asked more personal questions rather than technical ones. My resume was my best asset and the interview was mainly to see if our personalities would match.
This was an online and in-person final interview stage, which included a work example. They give good feedback, but it seems like a small team and they don't hire many people. The take-home assessment is tedious and requires time to do correctly. Feedback could be more detailed, but the interview is really about your thought process, not just the answer.
So first up there was a basic motivational interview, then I had to do a presentation and then there was Q&A on that and some final commercial questions. After that, I had a timed 30 minute Excel assessment in a technical setting, with Q&A on the assessment. Then a technical interview focused on restructuring. The final part was a coffee chat with some of the team.
