The interview process consists of a quick screening call with the headhunter, followed by a screening interview with HR, then a round with the hiring manager, two separate peer interviews, and finally a background check before the process is completed.
The overall experience was horrible. It felt like a huge disrespect to be given assessments before the company was introduced or any basic job information was provided. The applicant must have a chance to ask questions about the job and company before completing any assessments, as it's not a one-way selection process. I got an email from a recruiter asking me to pass an assessment on Codesignal. The assessment had 3 parts: 1 writing and 2 AI conversations, with a 40-minute time limit.
I had a pre-screen call with the recruiter, then a call with the manager. After that, there was a coding assignment, followed by a technical interview with the QA architect. The recruiter later called to say the technical interview went well, but the original position was filled. However, they had a similar role in another team that matched my tech stack. The recruiter scheduled the interview for Friday, but on Thursday, they canceled everything due to a hiring freeze.
