Alteryx Data Scientist interviews, decoded.

The hiring team was great, and the rounds were well structured. I cleared two rounds, but just before my last rounds, I was informed that their CTO had changed and hiring for a few roles, including mine, was put on hold. It was quite difficult to get updates from the TA team, and I had to wait weeks for any response. Overall, not the smoothest experience tbh.

Had 3 interviews in total, starting with a phone screen, then a meeting with the hiring manager, and finally a meeting with a Senior Data Scientist. They focused on my past experience and general data science concepts. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and the whole process wrapped up in under two weeks.

The standard interview process for this role included a phone screen, an interview with the hiring manager, a team interview, and a technical screen. The HR hiring manager handled all the arrangements smoothly and was very responsive.
