Had a great initial conversation with the VP. Moving on to meet with key people next. The interview was very good and covered a lot about the company, the job, what they're looking for, and how I fit in. The conversation flowed well and felt comfortable and open.
A previous colleague referred me, and after I sent in my resume, the recruiter contacted me about 4 weeks later. I set up a phone screen, but the recruiter was 10 minutes late and I had to email them to get their attention. When they finally called, they seemed uninterested, like I was bothering them. They asked a couple of questions and said they'd forward my info to the hiring manager. A week after that, the recruiter let me know they decided not to move forward with my application.
The interview process included an HR screen, two interviews with front-line managers, and a final presentation to the VP of Customer Success. It was a pretty unprofessional process, as the feedback didn't seem to be based on what I actually said. It ended up being for the best, though, as I felt I was overqualified and knew more about CS than the hiring manager.
