I had a 30-minute phone interview with a recruiter. After this call, I haven't heard back from the company, and it's been over a month now. This is not a professional way to handle potential candidates.
After an initial recruiter call, I was asked to set aside most of a day the following week for interviews with different people. It was a big ask since I already have a full-time job and ongoing projects. They also had to reschedule some things. The interview itself went well, and the questions were easy to understand. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't the right fit for the role, so I didn't proceed to the next stage. I was bummed because no one told me, and I ended up waiting on the Zoom call for the next interviewers.
The interview process involved two main rounds. First, an interview with the hiring manager. Second, and final, was a combination of a portfolio review, a whiteboard challenge, a deep dive into one of your projects, and several one-on-one meetings with the product manager and engineers.
