First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WithumSmith + Brown.
Audit Associate
The interview process started with a 20-minute screening, then a 30-minute first round with two managers. They asked only three basic questions, and then I asked them questions. It was pretty straightforward, and I moved on to the second round, which was also 30 minutes and followed the same format.

Marketing Specialist
The interview process wasn't too hard but took longer than it needed to, in my opinion. It was supposed to be 4 rounds total. The first 3 rounds went by pretty fast because they wanted to hire someone quickly. Then they ghosted me for a few weeks before I got a rejection email. It wasn't a shock because they were initially very friendly and responsive, so when they took ages to reply to my follow-up, I knew it was over. This is fine and happens in job searches, but after weeks of interviews (each about an hour long), it left a bad taste in my mouth.
- Can you share an instance where you had to manage multiple projects simultaneously?
Service Technician
The interview process started with an HR call to discuss the position and my background. Next, I had a call with the service technician support manager on the west coast, which was a good conversation and they explained the role well. The hiring manager on the east coast was not on that call, so HR scheduled a separate interview with him. The third interview wasn't great; I was asked generic questions, like about my 5-year plan, and they mentioned that these types of roles are being phased out due to AI and self-service support.
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years, considering that these positions may be phased out by AI and self-service support?
Accountant
It was a pretty fast process. First, a recruiter called, then I had a Zoom interview with two hiring managers. They were both pretty easy and straightforward interviews, and the interviewers made me feel really comfortable, so it didn't feel like an interview at all. I thought the second round went super well and I was expecting an offer, but two weeks later I got a standard rejection email. I emailed the recruiter for feedback, but she completely ignored me! For an entry-level role where I met all the minimum requirements, I have no idea why I was rejected, and I'll probably never know since the recruiter won't reply. I'm definitely not applying here again.
