Post Office Clerk
I had a face to face interview with a Manager. It was a very friendly chat, no difficult questions, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We talked about my experience listed on my CV. It was easy because I had my CV with me to help answer the questions.

Customer Service Representative
So the interview process for this retail job usually kicks off with you submitting an application, either online or in person. After that, there's a quick phone chat. Then, you'll have an interview, could be face-to-face or online, where they'll check out your customer service skills, see if you have sales experience, and confirm your availability. For some positions, you might have to do a role-play or some sort of practical test. The whole thing wraps up with either a job offer or some feedback.
- Tell me about an instance where you dealt with a challenging customer and the steps you took to sort it out.
Sales Assistant
It was my first interview so I was really nervous. I went in and spoke to the person at the till, who directed me downstairs to wait. The interviewer soon came and led me to a small room with low furniture. She asked me to introduce myself, which was a bit difficult because I wasn't sure what would be most interesting to share. Then, she posed a scenario: 'Tell me about a time you've changed the outcome of something when working in a team.' After I responded, she briefly described the role. The whole thing lasted about 15 minutes. She mentioned she'd call by the end of the week, likely Friday, but it's been two weeks now and I haven't heard back.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you share an instance where you influenced a team's outcome?
