It was a pretty standard customer service interview. They asked typical questions about my strengths and weaknesses. Also asked what I'd do if a mystery shopper came in. They wanted to know why I was interested in this specific role and about any past customer service jobs I'd had.

The interview process went really well, and I had a positive experience. The interviewer was nice and easy to talk to, which made me feel relaxed during our chat. They were patient and understanding when I didn't quite get a question right away, they were kind enough to repeat it and make sure I understood before I answered. The whole vibe was welcoming, and the interviewer seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say, which helped me feel comfortable and confident.

It was my first interview so I was really nervous. I went in and spoke to the person at the till, who directed me downstairs to wait. The interviewer soon came and led me to a small room with low furniture. She asked me to introduce myself, which was a bit difficult because I wasn't sure what would be most interesting to share. Then, she posed a scenario: 'Tell me about a time you've changed the outcome of something when working in a team.' After I responded, she briefly described the role. The whole thing lasted about 15 minutes. She mentioned she'd call by the end of the week, likely Friday, but it's been two weeks now and I haven't heard back.
