The interview was pretty straightforward and matched what they said it would be like. It had a clear format and structure that made sense, with one main question for each part before they dug deeper based on my answers. They recorded the interview, which was fine. They asked detailed questions about how quickly I could travel internationally.

The whole thing was super quick, like 3 weeks total. It started with a screening call, and even though I applied for Data Analyst, the recruiter suggested the Associate Data Analyst role for me based on my skills. Then I had a case study presentation for two senior data analysts, which went really well and they seemed to like it a lot – the recruiter even asked for my slides. The final interview was with the VP of Data Analyst and the Head of the department, which I thought went okay, but I ended up getting a generic rejection saying I didn't make it. It was weird because I usually get feedback on why I wasn't selected, but this time I got nothing, so I'm not sure what happened in that last interview. I was really hoping to join.

So I applied for this role, and the first email basically said the salary was fixed, no negotiation, and if I wasn't cool with that, don't bother. Then the rest of the interview process was pretty wild, honestly, lots of red flags. Like, halfway through they mentioned the role itself was still being reviewed, so they weren't even sure if they were going to hire anyone. Then weeks later, after I'd almost forgotten about it, they emailed to say they'd offered the job to someone else, specifically because of experience they never asked about or said was important in the job ad. Makes you wonder what it'd be like to actually work there...

I actually thought WGSN was a pretty cool company, but man, this interview process was something else. Applied and got an interview pretty quick, within 3 days. The hiring manager was sending emails at like 2am, which was weird, but I figured maybe they were traveling. The real weirdness started when they wanted to move our first interview outside normal hours with no real reason. I said no and we did it at a normal time. Then, during the interview, they straight up asked how much I was making currently, not even what I expected salary-wise. The manager then talked a lot about commission and how hard you have to work to get rewarded. It felt like the team is probably overworked, micromanaged, and not paid enough. I never heard back after the interview and didn't bother to follow up.
