I interviewed with the sales director and a sales rep. They explained what the day-to-day would look like, which involves going door-to-door and following up on leads. It was my first interview out of college, and they offered some helpful advice.

I spoke with a recruiter on the phone first, then I interviewed with the branch manager. After that, I did a ride-along interview. I never heard back after the ride-along. It was an easy interview with basic questions, and there was no follow-up after the ride along.

Behavioral Other

It was a 3-round interview process. They offered me the job, but then HR rescinded the offer after I signed because they were unaware of I983 clauses. The hiring manager and directors were good, but HR wasn't knowledgeable.

Behavioral Presentation

I met with the Territory Manager. After I asked them some questions, I was hired in about 20 minutes. It seems like they'll hire anyone who is capable and has prior experience. Sales at W.B. involves talking to people who usually don't want to talk to you and persuading them that switching to W.B. Mason is a better option than their current provider. They can't really tell how good you are at this job until you're actually doing it. I'd suggest asking about a ride-along during the interview if it's not brought up. This job requires handing out catalogs and flyers and often working late, past 5 pm daily. Make sure you have questions prepared in a padfolio and focus on selling yourself.
