The interview process was really straightforward and easy! If you have piercings, remove them or wear a mask for the interview. Just be charismatic and showcase your personality. They got back to me quickly and I started within a week of the interview. The training process is a little stressful for shoe sales, but the interview tells you what to expect.

So the interview process starts with some standard questions and then some questions about your past experience. You'll have two rounds of interviews. If you pass those, they'll ask for your professional references. Once that's cleared, you'll get an offer, or not.

The interview process was awful! I waited 15 minutes after arriving, then the hiring manager said hello and mentioned the department manager would interview me. I saw the department manager walk by several times without acknowledgment. After another 15 minutes, they finally came to interview me. The interview lasted over an hour, during which I had to read the employee handbook, job description, benefits, vacation policy, and employee conduct rules – things that should be discussed AFTER hiring. Ultimately, I was rejected. Please don't waste people's time; just ask the necessary questions and discuss benefits and other details after hiring.

Behavioral Technical

Went through 2 interviews for the Dept. Manager role. They require a references check. It was a detailed application process. The interviewers seemed to take a lot of notes while asking questions that were in a situational/past experiences format. Even though the interview itself felt easy, they asked a lot of questions for a retail job.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • Can you share an example of a past experience dealing with a difficult situation in a retail environment and explain your approach?
  • Could you describe a scenario where you had to manage a challenging employee or customer interaction?
  • What would be your strategy if your team consistently failed to meet their sales goals?
