The interview process went smoothly and was constructive. The first interview was with the Deputy General Manager HR, and the second interview was with RHR. The whole thing took about 1 month and 2 weeks. I liked how clear the communication was and how structured everything felt.

The recruitment process was extremely unprofessional, with no coordination from HR. Upon arrival for the interview, candidates had to wait for hours for a manager. The main focus of the interview seemed to be whether the candidate was willing to work for R5800 per month, which is a very low salary, even less than a typical stipend. The role was described as crucial for working with embassies, but the salary offered made this seem questionable. The overall impression was that the company is exploitative and that it would be difficult to survive on such a low wage.

I applied online, and after about two weeks, a recruitment agency got in touch. They set up an online interview. It was pretty straightforward, asking about the company, the job itself, how I handle working with others, dealing with customers, and making them happy. They also asked about my strengths and weaknesses.

The interview process took about 3 weeks, and it felt really rushed towards the end, with interviews happening every couple of days in the final week. It was going great until the very last interview. I made it through three rounds, and then I was the only one in the final interview, even though there were two people interviewing me. I don't get that. And then, after they said the role was urgent, I had to wait over three weeks for them to tell me I wasn't a good fit. If I wasn't a good fit, they should have let me know after I met the hiring manager in the second interview. I'm really disappointed. It cost me money to even go to these interviews because of how rushed it was. They shouldn't give candidates false hope, especially since this might be their only way to make a living and support their families.
