The interview process was good and well organised. It was a four stage process with a presentation during the 2nd interview. It was a very thorough interview process that also included some technical questions. The interview was conducted via zoom and I was interviewed by 3 different people, two of whom were Directors.

Behavioral Presentation

Interview process began in Sept 2024, but was paused due to sales team reorgs. Initially, the hiring manager was a no-show. I reapplied in Jan for a named accounts role and interviewed with the hiring manager and sales engineering manager, but the req was put on hold again due to another re-org. By May, Veracode wanted to move forward with a different role under a new team manager. I interviewed and was asked to prepare and present a 30-60-90 day plan. The panel seemed engaged and I answered their questions well. Seemingly positive, I was rejected the next business day for a weak reason only mentioned once in passing, which wasn't the focus of the role. The role was about expanding business with end clients, not channel management, which wasn't highlighted as a priority. Hours were wasted on interview prep and the 30-60-90 deck, and a minor plan omission was disqualifying. The whole thing wasted everyone's time.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I went through 5 rounds and then got ghosted after they said a decision would be made soon. It took over a month to get an automated email saying they were moving on to other candidates, and that was only after I got a survey about the interview process and rated it poorly. It was a pretty good experience until the very end, and the people I met were all really cool and seemed like a great team, but the ending was a real letdown after putting in so much time. I get that they weren't going to hire me, but leaving someone hanging for that long is rough.

I couldn’t believe it but the reviews were true. I was another victim of getting ghosted. Everything went well throughout the whole interview process. I even thought I might be the final candidate after many rounds. I read the other reviews and thought “No way I’m getting ghosted, They seem so nice,” yet here I am, another victim of being ghosted. I wasted time getting my hopes up that I would be getting this role but I felt lied to. Judging by all the new negative reviews being posted, I feel like maybe I dodged a bullet.
