Attraction Attendant
The interview process was straightforward and I was hired immediately after a single interview. The questions were pretty basic, focusing on guest experiences and how to manage different situations. They also inquired about my past experiences with the parks and my understanding of the role.

Revenue Management Analyst
The entire interview process was inefficient and took 3 months to complete. After applying online, I received a response from HR about a month later. I had an initial HR screen, followed by two interviews with managers. The final stage was a 3-hour in-person session that included three interviews and a presentation about a previous project. For two weeks after the in-person interviews, I received generic updates about them still considering my application. Eventually, they stopped responding, and I had to reach out directly for an update. My experience made me feel like my time wasn't valued.

Systems Engineer
I applied online. First, there was a phone screen with a recruiter about my background and the role. Then, I had a panel phone interview with the whole team. The next step was an on-site interview in Orlando with two panels: one with upper management in engineering and another with the same team from the previous round. They also gave me a tour of an attraction. I flew home the next day. It was a thorough and organized process with good communication. The on-site interviews and tour were helpful.

Wardrobe Fabricator
So, the whole process was kinda embarrassing on their end. First interview, they told me it was for a full-time Entertainment Costuming gig. Then, surprise! Second interview, turns out it's for part-time Operations Costuming, only three days a week. They also said there'd be a skills assessment, and they were super clear on what it'd be: a zipper, a sleeve hem, and a belt buckle. But when I got there, it was two zippers, a blind hem, and a maternity panel! They didn't even give me the right tools for the maternity panel, and the blind hem machine was busted – yeah, they knew it was broken, but I still had to do it. The other wardrobe fabricators were around but were really rude and just ignored me when I asked for help. The hiring manager only asked personality questions in the second interview, like about dealing with difficult people and how to tell someone more experienced they're wrong. This felt like a huge red flag, especially after meeting the team who clearly have issues. Also, I asked the recruiter about how the company's core values were lived out in their specific workplace, and she had no answer, which was awkward. Honestly, the interviews themselves weren't hard, even if the job wasn't what I initially applied for, but the skills assessment was a disaster and felt like a setup to fail.
- What would you do if you saw a coworker with more experience than you doing something wrong, or if you had a better way to do it?
