The work culture here is bad. The people are immature and it feels like high school for adults. There's no progression or fair treatment. Your experience will depend on whether you're a manager's favourite.

I applied to the fraud operations department and after submitting my CV, I got a screening call about a week later. It was pretty basic, just asking why I wanted to work with TSB and how I'd handle a difficult customer. Then I got an email and another call to set up an on-site interview, which they totally messed up and double-booked! The actual interview was mostly standard, but since I haven't taken calls before, I think I missed some important stuff. They hit me with six 'give me an example' questions and one scenario-based question. They said I'd hear back within two days, and I'm still waiting on feedback, but the staff were all really nice, so it's a shame I didn't get the job.

The interview process here is pretty enjoyable and stress-free. The Project Manager has a bit of a tricky accent sometimes, but everyone is really laid-back about it. The team atmosphere is super relaxed, with people getting their tasks done without feeling overwhelmed. It's a good mix, allowing you to work without feeling overly scrutinized. All in all, it's a chill and friendly environment, making everything feel much more manageable.

I applied on 21/05/19, and applications closed on 21/06/19. The first step was a phone interview on 19/06/19. It was a quick 20-minute chat, mainly asking 1-2 questions about my CV, with the rest of the time used for me to ask my prepared questions. The next interview was on 02/07/19. It started with a 15-minute prep time for a mini-presentation using provided graphs on UK unemployment, mortgage lending types, house price changes, and households in arrears. Presenting was easy; it was more about presentation style and background knowledge. The main interview followed, beginning with a few questions about my experience with company values and then standard competency questions. They probably asked about 6-8 questions from a larger list. It finished with a 25-minute numerical test with 20 questions, starting easy but getting harder, so practicing logic, probability, and sequence questions beforehand is recommended. The whole thing took about 2 hours.
