The interview process was really long. It started with two phone interviews, then a video interview, then an in-person one, followed by a Caliper Assessment. It was pretty disappointing because I was rejected before the last interviews even happened, which felt like a waste of my time and effort.

The interview process was seamless, and I had such a great experience from the first call to my offer! The executive team member that I interviewed with has several hard-hitting questions, and it is clear that True Homes values diligent, thought-provoking leaders.

Behavioral Technical Case

Applied by submitting my resume. The interview process was spread out over about 3 weeks and I had a total of 6 interviews. I took the Caliper assessment and had another interview. It seemed like everything was going really well, and I even had the final interview scheduled. But then, the day before, I received a generic email saying my interview was cancelled and that I didn't get the job. This was after I had already completed HR paperwork. I reached out for feedback but haven't received a response. Everyone was really nice and I felt like we connected well and that it was a great fit. It's very strange to lead someone on for that long only to reject them unexpectedly. It felt pretty insulting, especially not even getting a phone call to discuss what happened. Honestly, it was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't want to work for a company that operates like this. Very disappointed.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Other

It was a long and tough interview process. First, I had a phone interview. Then, I went for 3 onsite interviews. The first onsite was with the hiring manager, and the second was with the team. I showed my portfolio and a miniature model to demonstrate my passion for architecture. I also had to take a personality test, which felt like a waste of time. It was surprising they still moved forward with me after that. I learned from other interviews that my technical skills weren't strong enough, but my personality was good. It's frustrating how companies can waste candidates' time. The recruiter suggested I get more experience elsewhere, which is hard when you need a chance to prove yourself. After the personality test, I took an AutoCAD test without knowing if they wanted perfection or just improvement. I was given a floorplan and had to rearrange rooms for client changes using pre-drawn elements. I spent three weeks preparing, reviewing AutoCAD, and practicing room placement. After the test, they said they'd call the next day, but I didn't hear back for seven days. I was told they chose another candidate. I emailed for a follow-up on the test and my job status, but my emails were ignored. I know I can use the software and get help from others in the department. It's strange to be told I need more experience by someone who used to sell cabinets. They really crushed my hopes for a job in my field. I wish companies were more humane and gave people a chance; there's no such thing as a 'perfect candidate'.
