This interview process involved several interviews with lengthy gaps in between. There were four interviews in total: a phone call, an in-person panel interview, an in-person one-on-one with the area sales manager, and finally an in-person meeting with the company owner. Communication was slow and required constant follow-up from my end. They don't provide feedback or follow-up, so candidates have to actively seek responses from them. I suspect this is a deliberate part of their elimination process to gauge which candidates demonstrate initiative and persistence. It shows you'll be tenacious and able to close deals. It wasn't a great experience overall; it felt too long and drawn out, taking about 9-10 weeks. It felt like they were testing persistence.

The interview process was quite lengthy. I had several interactions with the recruiter, followed by meetings with the area manager, the president of sales, and ultimately the company owner. These meetings were spaced out over time. They were very clear about the specific qualifications they sought. Throughout the process, everyone I met was very positive and pleasant.

It was a really in-depth process. You had to succeed in the interview with the recruiter first, then take a test and have at least 2 more interviews before you got hired. They do so much research to make sure you're going to be a good fit and really like the job, because of the products we sell and how big this purchase is to clients.
