First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Trinity Life Sciences.
Summer Associate
I sent in my CV, and then I had a 1st round interview over zoom. After that, I had a 2nd round which consisted of 2 back-to-back interviews in person in London. The interviews were pretty standard, covering behavioural and life sciences case study topics, and were interviewer-led. I thought they were at a good level. The communication before the 1st round wasn't the best though - I didn't get any emails, and I couldn't receive calls for a bit, so I nearly missed the interview!
- Can you walk me through your CV?
- Tell me about a time you had to manage a difficult team member.
Data Analyst
So the interview process involved an aptitude round, followed by a technical round. Then, there was another technical round and an HR round combined, all happening on the same day. It was an in-person interview at their office. The first face-to-face interview was in the morning, and the second one was in the afternoon. Right after the second interview, they told me I didn't make it.
- Can you please introduce yourself?
- Could you answer some SQL questions?
- Could you answer some Python questions?
Intern
There were 3 rounds in total. The first was a 45min online round, followed by two 45min in-person final rounds. The structure was the same for all rounds, with increasing senior staff members for each round. It wasn't too difficult and involved a CV check in all three rounds. Even though I went to the office for the in-person interview, I haven't heard back in over a month, and my follow-up email to HR also went unanswered. It's quite frustrating given the time and effort I put in; I would have preferred a rejection over being ignored.
- Can you walk me through your CV?
- Let's discuss a Pharm case study.
- Can you tell me about a time when you...?
Associate Consultant
I had two rounds of interviews. The first was a 45-minute session with a mix of behavioral and case study questions, about 10 minutes for behavioral and 30 for the case. The case was manageable, but the behavioral questions were a bit tricky. The final round had two 45-minute individual interviews with engagement managers. The format was the same as the first round, with easier cases and behavioral questions. The interviewers were very nice and personable. What was disappointing was being told I'd hear "good news" soon after, making me think I got the job, but then I got a generic rejection email 4 days later with no feedback despite my request.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to convey information rapidly and efficiently?
- Recount an experience where you communicated data under tight time constraints effectively.
