HR Business Partner
I had an interview with the recruiter on October 28th, then I spoke with the VP of HR on October 31st, and after that, I had an interview with the Chief People Officer on November 4th. I was told I would move to the next stage and interview with the President of Power. I followed up multiple times, but I felt ignored. Finally, after my fourth follow-up, I heard back that the Chief People Officer decided to go with other candidates whose skills were a better fit for the job. It was disappointing that the assurance from my last interviewer didn't happen, making me doubt their process. Good communication and honesty are important in recruiting, and this experience made me feel like they didn't value me as a candidate. I hope they get better at following up and giving more honest feedback to applicants in the future. I guess I'm glad I saw this now rather than later.
- Can you describe your experience with job leveling?
Environmental Engineering Intern
This was my first interview, conducted over Zoom with an HR representative, although it was for a location I'm not interested in working. The interview was quite straightforward, and the interviewer was very pleasant. We chatted a bit initially before they asked me a few questions. The whole thing lasted about 15-20 minutes and was a positive experience overall.
- Which college class has been your favorite up to this point?
- And which has been your least favorite class in college so far?
- Could you give me three words that describe you?
Transmission Designer
TRC Companies, Inc.'s interview process was a terrible experience, making candidates feel misled and disrespected. After a good phone interview for the Transmission Designer II position, where Sr. Talent Advisor Stacey Norton said I was a likely candidate, I followed up six times and heard nothing back. This ghosting, even with my strong qualifications (10+ years in CAD design and AutoCAD skills), shows a lack of professionalism and accountability. This pattern makes me question TRC’s recruitment integrity—they seem to promise jobs but just collect candidate info without any intention of hiring. Job seekers should be warned: TRC’s process, managed by recruiters like Norton, wastes your time and damages trust.

Outreach Specialist
The recruiter I spoke with about the job was totally unprofessional. After getting and looking over the employee agreement and benefits, I decided to politely turn down the job offer. As soon as I sent my email, I started getting really insulting, coercive, and manipulative texts from this person pushing me to accept. They even said the company would "blacklist me" if I declined. It seems like they use fear and manipulation to get candidates, and honestly, it's the worst experience I've ever had with any company.
- Can you describe your method for keeping track of multiple projects and measuring their success?
