I applied online and a recruiter contacted me within two weeks to set up a virtual interview on Microsoft Teams. The interview involved two hiring managers who first introduced themselves. Then, I discussed my work experience and education. We also had a basic discussion about the job role and TRC's current activities. Finally, they asked a few questions based on my resume. It felt like a straightforward and positive experience.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted on LinkedIn by a recruiter. After a preliminary chat with the recruiter, I had an interview with the national operations manager. It was pretty much a chat about my past experience and relevant skills. I got an offer but they later revoked it after I accepted it and before I could start. Apparently, they got fired by their customer and then they just decided to withdraw my offer. I don't think this company is a good choice if you want job security. I heard they've also cut field employees' per diems without good reason.

It was an easy interview process, nothing out of the ordinary, very easy going. They don't grill you. Onboarding is also very easy. First, there was a phone interview with HR. Then a phone interview with managers, where they asked some technical questions. The last interview was in-person.

  • Can you describe the projects you have worked on?
  • What types of protection schemes have you commissioned?
