Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TRC Companies.
Intern
So there were two interview rounds, which was kinda good and bad. The first one was with HR, and then the second one was with my supervisor. The HR questions were pretty basic, but the supervisor's questions were more like technical ones.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- How do you balance your academic responsibilities with your coursework?
Intern
It was a pretty straightforward interview process. Started with a quick screening call, under 20 minutes, with some basic questions. Then there was a follow-up 30-minute 1:1 chat with the hiring manager. Overall, the process was quite easy. I got the offer about a week after completing the interviews.
- Could you tell me what adjectives best describe you?
Intern
I had a chat with two really nice people. First, they talked about what the company does and what kind of growth opportunities there are for employees. Then, they asked me about my achievements and some tough situations I've been through. The questions were pretty standard, and the whole thing felt pretty chill.
- Can you share an example of a time you encountered adversity?
- Tell me about your accomplishments.
- Describe a challenging situation you've overcome.
