It started with a phone screen, then I had interviews with the hiring manager, HR, and another team member, all via Teams. They asked standard intro questions like asking me to introduce myself, how I handle competing priorities, and if I had any questions for them.

The interview process started with an AI-based question and answer form, followed by a group interview, and concluded with a one-on-one interview. While the overall experience wasn't bad, the final one-on-one interview was quite challenging, and I felt put on the spot.

I had an initial screening call and then went through three rounds of interviews. The process felt quite long, with the first and third interviews lasting about 45 minutes each, and the second one being around 25 minutes. All this for a 1-year fixed-term contract, and I heard back two days after the final interview. The whole thing took about three weeks. They also mentioned they thought my profile was better suited for a senior role, not an admin one, which seemed odd given my resume clearly outlined my experience. It felt like they couldn't decide, wasting three weeks only to say I was overqualified.

Behavioral Technical

I had an interview with the hiring manager and the internal recruiter on Microsoft Teams. The questions were typical, not overly hard but not easy either. The main issue was their attitude after the interview. The recruiter told me to call him if I didn't hear back by Friday, and he even said it was okay to follow up. But then he blocked my number after I called a second time. After an hour-long interview, you'd expect at least a basic courtesy of informing unsuccessful candidates about the outcome. We're all adults and can handle not getting the job, but their behavior, especially the recruiter's, was unprofessional and immature. If this reflects the company culture, I'm glad I avoided a problem.
