First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Toll Group.
Manager
They offered me an interview but first wanted to agree on a salary, which I did not initially. Two weeks later, they called back and agreed to the salary. The first phone interview was fine. The second phone interview was offered, but they wouldn't meet in person. I felt I aced the second interview, even though they used some questionable techniques. I got a bad feeling about this company from the start, and I believe all the negative feedback out there is true. It's obvious this is a toxic work culture, and they don't deserve me or anyone else. Look elsewhere!
- Can you share an instance where a project deviated from its plan and describe how you managed it?
Commercial Manager
The interview was over the phone. They decided to hire me for the project and then gave me an offer. They also promised that once the project I was working on was finished, I would be moved to another job, but that didn't happen. Overall, I feel they didn't keep their promises.
- Can you describe your past experience?
Assistant Manager
The interviewer was great, understanding, and professional. The interview process was pretty standard. It started with a self-introduction, then we moved on to sharing about my past experiences. I had prepared three questions to ask about the job and career path if I got shortlisted.
- Could you please introduce yourself and describe your current role?
