Warehouse Worker
They asked me about my knowledge and experience, and how I would want to do well in their company. They also asked if I would be open to learning and trying new things, and if I would be okay with moving to different roles if they needed me to.

HR Manager
I applied directly to the talent acquisition team. I had two team interviews, and then I went to an on-site interview. It was really informative, and I got a good understanding of the role and the company. They reviewed my CV and recent career history. We also did a site/plant tour.

- How have you worked with unions in the past?
Business Analyst
There were a couple questions that touched on personality and knowledge. A test project was included, which was pretty straightforward and easy if you already knew the basics of the field. Overall, the interview didn't feel too intense and seemed quite fair.

Senior Corporate Counsel
I was first reached out by an internal recruiter for a preliminary interview with the hiring manager who would be my direct supervisor. Then I had a 30-minute Zoom interview with the hiring manager and I really liked her, the company, the role and my chances. After that, another internal recruiter contacted me to set up more formal and longer interviews with different attorneys at the company, also via Zoom. I was a little surprised by the invite, it was for three solid hours of interviews with five different people (2:30pm - 5:30pm) with no breaks, but I was very interested so I prepared for it. I felt these formal interviews went great. The last step was a second meeting with the hiring manager to go over things, and we actually went over our scheduled time by about 20 minutes. After each interview, I sent thank-you notes to everyone I spoke with and the recruiters. In total, I spent about four hours interviewing and at least as much time prepping. The job posting said they were fast and transparent, but after the final interview, the hiring manager said I should hear back within a week. I heard nothing for a few weeks so I called the recruiter for an update. He said the feedback was positive but a decision would take a few more weeks. This surprised me, but I figured things change. A few more weeks passed so I emailed the hiring manager directly. She ghosted me. After another couple of weeks with no news, I called the recruiter again and left a voicemail. He never called back. To this day, almost three months after my last interview, I haven't heard anything from the company despite trying professionally to get an update. I know companies ghost candidates often, but this is the first time it happened when they advertised transparency. I know the recruiter might be at fault, but there's no excuse for this. The lawyers I interviewed with knew I sacrificed my time, and I deserve some communication. A simple rejection email would have been enough and I would have respected them more.
