First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tenneco.
Warehouse Worker
They asked me about my knowledge and experience, and how I would want to do well in their company. They also asked if I would be open to learning and trying new things, and if I would be okay with moving to different roles if they needed me to.
- Were you able to observe everything within your view?
Production Worker
The application was pretty straightforward. I had to get a National Career Readiness Certificate and then fill out a second application when I got to the interview. The HR team was really nice and knew their stuff. They also do a drug screening and background check before making a job offer. It took about two weeks to hear back about the offer and when to start. It's a union plant.
- What experience do you have relevant to this role and the company?
Order Picker
We discussed my distribution experience and my years in the distribution business. Then, they asked if I would have issues working continuously throughout the week, to which I said yes. I told them I would gladly take this position.
- What was your prior experience in distributing?
- Do you foresee any issues with working continuously throughout the week?
