Store Leadership Intern
I applied in January, and then had my first phone screening in late February with the recruiter. It was a 20-minute call, and she was super nice and really patient when I needed to rephrase my answer to a question. She asked me some basic stuff, like what I'm looking forward to about the internship. I still haven't heard back from her.

Senior Associate
I had an initial screening with TA which was pretty easy. They then moved me to interview with the Hiring Manager (HM) pretty quickly. My chat with the HM was good and relaxed, felt like a normal conversation. HM told me I was advancing to the next stage, which would be a panel interview. They mentioned I was the top candidate. TA reached out about a week later to set up the panel interview. I had this third interview and it felt like it went really well. The interviewer said they were sure my skills and experience were a perfect fit for the job. They told me TA would contact me to schedule the next step. And then... nothing. No email, no follow up. I decided to follow up myself with a polite email and still got no response. So unprofessional. It makes no sense how companies expect respect for their time and the process, but then just ghost candidates. It's unacceptable. TA should know better than to leave a candidate hanging. Just a simple email letting me know you went with someone else would be courteous and respectful. Candidates put in a lot of time and effort, and it's stressful to be left in the dark. It makes you question yourself and your experience. A quick email is all it takes.
- Can you describe your experience and explain how it relates to this position?
Sales Associate
I had a really good interview experience at Tapestry. It was about 25 to 40 questions, mainly about real retail situations. Since I've worked in retail before, the questions were pretty easy and familiar—I'd dealt with most of them already. The managers were really respectful and professional the whole time. I liked that there was no discrimination in their hiring. They're inclusive, open to everyone, and really want to train and support their staff. Even if this is your first or second time applying for a retail job, don't be scared—they'll make sure you feel comfortable.

Senior Designer
A recruiter reached out about a Senior Designer role, and I was interested. The process moved quickly with two interviews, followed by a substantial take-home project due on Saturday EOD. They really liked the project and said they'd follow up. The recruiter mentioned updates in a couple of weeks, but after several weeks passed with no news, and despite my check-in emails, I realized I was being ghosted. This was for a job I didn't even apply for, and I found the whole experience extremely unprofessional, possibly an attempt to get free work.
- Could you complete this extensive take-home project by Saturday, given minimal resources?
