Passenger Service Agent
I wouldn't suggest working here. The whole hiring to onboarding process was really bad and felt super rushed, which made me wonder how organized the company is. I first talked to someone on Friday and they set me up to meet the hiring manager on Monday. When I got there, there were a bunch of other candidates and we had to wait a bit before we were seen. The hiring manager asked me one quick question about why I wanted the job and then right away said I was hired. The onboarding was done all together with everyone at once. After that, I had to do a drug test and get a badge, all in a really tight amount of time. The whole thing was done in just a few hours, and it felt messy and not personal. When I tried to ask questions, the staff couldn't give me straight answers. After my training was set up, I emailed the training manager and HR but never heard back. I even went to the office, and the front desk people seemed so disorganized, writing notes on a napkin, which didn't make me feel confident. All in all, the lack of communication, planning, and professionalism made this a really annoying experience.

Guest Service Agent
it was a group interview, first we watched some slides and a manager talk bout the company and our role. Then some fun team building exercises (nothing too cringe), answer some questions about yourself and what your passions are as we went around the group. Afterwards simply filled out some paper work of availability/desired hours and days. Then had to wait outside as a group while we called in one at a time for a 2 on 1 personal interview (about 10-15mins). Afterwards we received a call (within 24 hours) to say whether we received an offer or not. Received an offer, but hourly rate was too low and they make you pay 400+ for Airport Security clearance/ ID, as well as extra for police check. Apparently reimbursed after 1 year of working for them. Thought this was pretty unreasonable considering they are a huge worldwide company that makes ALOT of money, yet still wants to pay you below average for the sector AND fork out nearly 500 for security checks/ID, before you even receive your first pay check. Ok if you want to use them as a stepping stone into the aviation industry, but not great if you just want a steady job in customer service/tourism while you're keeping an eye out for other things. The hourly pay is just too low.

The interview process at Swissport was quick and efficient, with great communication. The recruiter kept me informed at every stage, answered all my questions, and gave me insights into the company culture, challenges, and the role's responsibilities.

- How would you describe your knowledge of the market?
Traffic Agent
The interview was in 2 stages. The first was a group interview where we introduce ourselves, talk about our experience, and they inform us about the guidelines and expectations of the job. Once pre-selected, you get to the second interview, which is in English, where they go deeper into the functions we would perform, evaluating our aptitudes through questions.
